What is a Quality Report Card?

As a healthcare consumer, you have many choices for hospital care. How do you choose a hospital? Many people choose a hospital because it is close to home, or because of a recommendation from their doctor. These are good reasons in many cases to use a hospital. 

At Transylvania Regional Hospital, we believe that quality hospitals are organizations that are committed to providing you with transparent information about the kind of care and experiences patients receive. We have developed a Quality Report Card that shares meaningful data about patient care and satisfaction, and our outcome measures are compared to state and national averages (when available) so you can see how we measure up.

We believe so strongly in our mission to provide quality care for those we serve that we have committed to providing ongoing, transparent updates in our Quality Report Card—regardless of how we compare to other hospitals. Our commitment to quality patient care drives us to continually improve, and we hold ourselves accountable to this mission.
